Great work KK, to capture this little speed demon. These ducks are as fast as the teal. Everything looks really sharp and the colors are fantastic.

Great Job!

Marvellous! I think you'll be a great clay pigeon shooter if you were into that sport! I use that setup, and I have a long long way to go!!!

This is a really fine shot of this shoveler, KK. It shows the really beautiful colors of the wing feathers which are not usually visible when the birds are on the water. Great work getting it sharp and perfectly lit. Congratulations.

KK,

Excellent flight shot. Love the colors in the wing. It's good to see that you had some sunshine.

Great shot KK! :) I have not even been able to photograph one of these sitting still! There are two things that I find a little distracting: the tip of the three feathers showing in the water toward the bottom of the frame and the lines in the water not leveled. A little cloning would fix the former easily. Not sure if I would like to see the Shoveler going up in the frame after rotating it to level the water though, I like its position as is. :D

The tripod I used was perfectly leveled prior to shooting actually. The angle of the 'lines in water' depends on the wind direction so to speak ...
