Took this at Kiawah Island, SC. Was able to get close... but they sure do move fast!! Nice when they stopped to preen. I was hoping for some sunset light on this little guy but the clouds spoiled it. I kind of liked the monotone look to this one... What do you all think?

Very nice shot. Soft colors enhance image, as does the low angle. Great work!

soft, gentle, serene come to mind. This is definitely lovely to me Doug. Love the high key here. In fact, maybe a touch more lightening on the bird. I think you should consider adding a liitle turf back to the bottom and the right, cutting some off the left to get him looking back into the picture instead of out of the picture. But if you favor the way it is , I gotta say it ain't bad!
