I have a photosec for a N90s, I am working on trying to get the exposure brakketing figured out. The problem I have is that I cant get it to stay on. When I turn the camera off it cancels that feature/function. It appears I need to turn it on with the photosec and then leave the camera on?! This cant be right? Is there a way to turn this back on with out pluggin back into the computer? What happens when your in the field?
Any info is greatly appreciated. I do plan on getting a MF-26 control back for it soon. Because I am thinking that will give me the ability to make some changes in the field with it. But I still want to be able to use this brakketing feature/function with out it, and with out needing to drag a long extension cord around to power a computer when I need to turn that feature back on...lol

Thanks

Jason, I have PhotoSecretary for the F5 but am sorry I cannot help - I've never even tried to use it! Maybe some day I'll need to contact you to see how to set it up. :D

Jason,

I have the HarTalk module for my N90s, it's much better than the Photo Secretary. I have the module that connects to my palm pilot and can change all the features with than. I also have the M-26 back which allows you to change many function, but not any of the functions that the HarTalk can. http://www.cocoon-creations.com/

Jason,

What you're experiencing doesn't sound right to me, either. I have PhotoSecretary for the F5, and bracketing stays on until I turn it back off or change the setting via the software.

I can't imagine the default would be to intentionally turn off bracketing each time. In fact, I just checked my F5 PhotoSec on my laptop, and there's not even a choice to cancel settings when powering off the camera.

If you haven't already done so, I would probably try pressing the combo of buttons to cancel all customized settings and return the camera to factory defaults (I don't recall what that combo is, but I know it's in the manual  ), and reprogram everything to your preferred settings. Just to see if you've somehow accidently set something else that is causing the bracketing to cancel out each time. Good luck!

Mark,
Thanks, I was thinking that maybe I did set something wrong in it. I will try your idea.

Thank you
