I thought this was a Tennessee Warbler until Alan Murphy posted his image of one. He suggests this is a Palm Warbler. Can anyone confirm? Indeed it seems to be one in Fall feather.

This was taken on September 15 in Chicago on the edge of Lake Michigan at Northerly Island, formerly known as Meigs Field. You can see the location of where this was taken in THIS POST in EHK. Thanks for the help.

(I was taking the wide angle shot of the skyline, when this treat landed nearby. I switched lens and shot before switching settings for the camera. Then the bird was gone. Suprised I got this HH at 1/15.)

Yes, Paul, this is a Palm Warbler. Looks like you got nice and close and this is amazingly sharp for 1/15 handheld. Too bad the tail is obsutructed :(

This is one excellent small bird grab shot Paul. Nice job on the exposure and steadiness of hand
I hope this area reverts nicely back into it's natural habitat. Always nice to hear about these opportunities.

Lovely and impressive hand held. Enjoyed your photo of the field, too.

Amazing for 1/15.

Great to hear of an airport being converted into a natural area for a change
