This is a shot from last February, one of my first after switching to digital. I decided last night to rework it. This of the critically endangered "streaked" subspecies which is native to the grasslands and coastal beaches in western Oregon and Washington. There are thought to be fewer than 250 pairs left. I'm curious what people think, particularly since this was prepared on my laptop monitor. Comments, critiques and reposts are welcome.
