This was taken at the National Aviary here in Pittsburgh in their "wetlands" room. The place is a wonderful place but the best for photography as you are never shootiing with the sun but at best a sideways sun. due to the layout of the room. Nice backgrounds are also difficult, but on the flip side there are of course a lot of birds present and in the cold winters here it is especially nice.
The light on the head seemed especially nice to me on this one. All comments and critiques welcome. |
