This Egret was shot earlier this year in Hungary. We found a little pond where they where very active and attractive to photograph

Excellent capture, eventhough egrets are very common in Israel, I love to see them in flight or taking of,
they have something very special with their structure.
Very good background.
Maybe just a little bit open frame?

To nit pick, I would like just a little more room at the top; just a smidge. But, I really like this, even as it is presented. Wonderful detail. Sweet.

A great pose and exposure, Hilbre!
A little more room atop and bottom would be even better for this one.
I never get tired of seeing Great Egret ... they are so graceful in flight.

Really a lovely pose and the light through the wings is great. Too tight on the crop for me.

Thanx for the comments. "unfortunatly" it is not a crop on top and bottom. I was happy to it all in the frame ;-) The only thing I cut off were left and right to make it square

Beautiful wing position. Excellent exposure of the whites. Just a little more space at the top, and just perfect .
