Scissortail Flycatcher - Roma, Texas, USA
EOS 10D, 500mm, 1.4x, 1/250, f/6.3, ISO 200 I don't have a lot of bird photos with human elements in them but I think I can scrape up a few for the new motif This was taken on the dirt road to and from the ranch we were photographing Rio Grande Valley specialties in last spring. The Scissortail flycatchers would sit on the fences along the road and every once in a while we ran across a bird that didn't flee the second you slowed the car down. This is a hand held shot out of the car window using just the partially retracted window for some stability. E.J. Peiker http://www.EJPhoto.com
