This is the cromlech of Amendres, close to the city of Evora in Southern Portugal. It consist in 92 monoliths from about 5000 years B.C.
Maybe I should clone that flare from the sky?

I like this--it has some neat shapes, and the colour is nice. I wonder if a touch of fill (either real or digital) would help bring out the texture in the rocks without killing the shadows.

As for the flare, I'd say clone it. If there was a nice pattern of repeating and overlapping flare spots, I'd say keep 'em, but with just the one (or do I see a faint second one), I'd delete them.

I love the shapes of the stones here, and your perspective in photographing them. I was undecided about the flare until I read Paul's response, and am in agreement with him about cloning it.

Nice shot. I agree to clone out the flare. I see two (in URC-ish).

Looks like an interesting place to explore. How tall are the monoliths? - it's hard to tell from this image, which adds a sense of mystery. Nice composition.

The bigger ones, maybe slightly over 2 meter (6.5 feet) tall, but there is one, isolated, about 1 mile from this spot that is twice as bigger.

I agree that this subject deserves more work. On obvious approach, since apparently this was related with planets, seasons and so on, would be to capture this with star-trails. Maybe I'll do that one day.

I was expecting that someone would mention the placement of the clouds above the biggest monolith, that wasn't just by accident.
Does any one dare to interpret that?

Cool rocks - would love to see this in softer light. Nice shot.
