A few weeks ago a group of photographers built a gaint raised bird bath 5m long 2m wide,so as to get low angle drinking/bathing images. We are still sorting out the problems encountered, but this is an early result.
Any comments very useful as changes to the set up are being made constantly

Great colours and detail Neil. There are a few reflections of vegetation in the bg, but hardly worth mentioning.

Did you get any with the whole reflection of the bird ?

Don't change a thing. Sweet colors and the perch is natural. Neil.

Love the colours , Neil. Good detail and composition. I would be interested in seeing a shot of the set-up.

Made for a sweet image. I'd also be interested in learning more about and seeing an image of the set up.

With this bird bath that was constructed, were there perches available above the bath? Just a thought. I like the color of the water. Also right near the head - possible sensor dust?

Nice image. COuld you post a "pull away shot" that shows the entire setup, with perches, camera locations, etc.?

Thanks
Ken

The overall color scheme is what makes this a beautiful shot ...

Nice behavioural image, Neil. I like the water colour, and the lichen-covered perch. Would prefer to see the whole reflection and a catchlight.
