Saw-whet Owl and the Lady Bug

I shot this image here in NJ last November. As usual this little guy was well hidden, making it difficult to get a good composition. I did end up with more pleasing comps. But by then the lady bug had left!
Cropped just from the bottom to eliminate some messy oof branch's.

What an interesting shot. I know those owls sit tight, but it's pretty neat to catch a bug crawling over one.

Great image Chris. The ladybug is interesting and I like the pine framing. Just wish the lighter green one above its head wasn't there.
