I never got to the lake at the golden hour. this is the best I could do with lots of help (perhaps overdoing it) in Photo shop. The scenes at Glacier are wonderful and there are only so many golden hours in the day and visits are a limited number of days. That is why those of us blessed with home locations at wonderful places have so many fantastic opportunities. But we can't live everywhere so it is wonderful that we can share together.

Robert, it is in Glacier National Park in MT.

This apperars way too cyan for me. As you stated, Lake McD is pretty much a sunrise or sunset place to shoot.

Was there haze from the Glacier forest fires when you were there?

Beautiful scene, Steve. I only wish the foreground elements were a bit sharper.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

I think it's in MT Robert.

Steve, it looks like a very nice scene but the image has a very strong cyan color cast.

Some serious clipping in the cyan department on this image. Perhaps some PS adjustments, as well as some cropping of the bottom left would help, as well. The rock in the water draws my eye away from what I think you want me to look at: the beautiful view.

Since I found the saturation sponge and slider, I tend to get carried away, so this is not exactly what the colors were when I saw them. I wish the colors of the water were this, The haze at the base of the mountains got that way and I could not correct it.
Thanks for the positive comments.

Lake McDonald and Glacier are sure in beautiful country! In addition to the cyan cast already mentioned this is tilted to the point where it is distracting. Correcting the tilt and a little color work in PS should greatly improve this one.
