Canon 1D 16-35 Canon Lens 1/15 at f16 550EX flash with better beamer aimed to the gull. Tripod. ISO 100. Cropped to place the bird with the rule of thirds.

The Lexington is II war ship which has become a living museum in our city: Corpus Christi, Texas. Instead to take a "postcard" type of picture I wanted to play introducing a laughing gull. My daughter was throwing them shrimps and I tried to capture one on the left corner. I wanted the blurred look of the bird to contrast with the static ship. It was dusk. I do not know if I succeeded but surely we had fun. All comments welcome.

Hi Juan. I can't put my finger on exactly why, but I do like this! I think it's quite unique and I really like the pastel gradation of the sky.

Interesting and creative shot. By the way: the official name is Laughing Gull. I like the motion blur in the gull.

Interesting shot Juan. I like the inclusion of the gull. It does need a little CCW rotation.
