Australian White Ibis
1D Mark II, Canon 300 2.8, X2, Canon 550 EX @ -2 1/3, BB, HH, 1/1250, f-8, iso 8

Took this one today in early morning especially for the weekly motif - "Open bill".
I don't particularly like these birds but I saw this feeding behaviour and thought it fits the motif...

Great action for the motif, Ofer. I think these birds have lots of character. I would be thrilled to have them close by. Well done on the exposure and detail. Another composition possibility would be to crop in front of the leg of the left bird. That would put the bills in the centre but simplify the comp. Not a nit though.

Now there's a clinic on exposure! The detail in the blacks and whites are outstanding. I think the comp is fine as is and the action is great. A great Motif shot Ofer.
