Yes, water is in distance, so able to get good BG.
Look back the photos I took last September, most of them not good, sharp but bad composition and in bad light.

Wonderful shot, Juanli. By selectively sharpening the bird, you can avoid the strong halos in this image. It takes a few moments but makes a big difference. The devil's in the details.

Great pose, and the positioning is excellent. Love the big eye, with a perfect catchlight. The rocks make an excellent foreground as well. Really nice.
