I received PS Elements 3.0 yesterday and thought I would play with some old images. This shot is from January '04 when I was digiscoping. What I find amazing is that the zoom was set at max 60x and yet the image did not fall apart completely.

Dan, I'm not fimiliar with digiscoping, but the image is soft due to movement. The angle is a bit steep too. I like the comp. I'd boost the contrast and saturation just a bit. I like the sparkle in his eye.

Pretyy soft and flat in the contrast department but I have rarely seen digiscoping produce the quality of a good 500 or 600mm lens. Not easy I guess. There seems to be good light falling on the face but it's looking away and that's taking away from the impact it could have had had it been glancing your way.

I think the digiscoping is hurting the contrast and sharpness of the image. Still for 60x this is good.

Thanks for the comments. My conclusion exactly. I will refrain from posting similar images in the future. You guys set an awful high standard around here!
