Hi Chris, a great closeup but a little oversharpened. Please wait 48 hrs between image posts in birds. Thanks.

Thanks Mike - will undo the sharpening a bit for the print. And sorry - new to posting, will hold off on clogging up your server!

A nice shot but the image is pixelated due to high compression, Chris!

The image is too big, being 680x544 pixels. Please take a moment to read the Posting Guidelines at the top of the page. You are allowed only one image post per 48 hours, also, your images must be no longer than 650 pixels on the longest side. Thanks!

Chris, some things that would improved this great shot. More DOF to get the tail in focus. Less flash as it's a bit flat and less sharpening. The BG and pose are great.

Thanks Alan, and all - I'm new at this "photographing at the feeder" game, but your tips will all help on the next round - thanks!

You did get a nice shot of this guy....off the ground which is a task in itself. The perch and BG are very nice. It is oversharpened and a little over flashed....but you have the right idea in working with these guys.

Great close shot but maybe a tad oversharpened. I'm looking forward to seeing more :-)
