Yesterday I enjoyed to spent (blind) more than 3 hours near a small lake, looking at 8 Coots fishing small fish between the bushes. I realize that they has very interesting behavior. After the catching they swim very fast out from the all group just to eat alone without any disturbing from others Coots. D2h 80~400 at 400 at 400mm 1/500 f7.1 almost full frame. Thank you very much for looking. Every comments and suggestions will be very important for me and very welcome as well. (I hope my English is good to understand)

Hi Haim, this is a very special gull... :D very nice capture, and a great exposure! :D I would suggest cropping it a bit so the bird will be bigger and more detailed. This fish looks as if it was dead for some time... :D

A very nice shot! I feel its just a bit too centered.

Sweet shot. I agree about it being a little too centered.

Haim, nice calm water and catching him with a fish is great. I'm seeing a slight Cyan cast.

This is a very nice coot shot! The perfect reflection adds a lot, as does the "prey". The composition could be improved, as the others have suggested. My suggestion is to take about half off the bottom and make it more panoramic. You could also take some off of the right. Your exposure is very good, to get so much detail in the black feathers, it is not easy to do with this bird.

Give it a tighter crop and place the subject slightly more to the right will improve the visual impact, Haim!

I like the cropping suggestions that have been made. The calm water, reflection and catch of the day make for a very nice image. I, too am seeing a cyan color cast. All of these things can easily be done to make this one really good.

I'm not sure how I would change the crop on this. I think taking the bird off center would improve it but it would be kind of cool to accentuate the wake behind the bird. It'd be a shame to cut that off IMO. Cool shot. Thanks for sharing.
