Another Viera image. Learning to add a stop of DOF has improved the many stacked converter images I have taken recently. I particularly like her pose.

20D, 600IS, 1.4x, 2.0x, bean bag on car window, ISO 400, f13, 1/160, cropped from both right and left.

Comments and reposts welcome.

Jim, you captured an unusual pose on both ends of this duck. This is very nicely done.

Incredibly sharp for 1/160th at that focal length  and an active subject. Good technique pays off. I really like the head feathers and tail display. The bg is a bit busy but not much you could have done about it.

Cool shot Jim. Judging by your using a 600, 2X, and 1.4X TC I can see this one was as shy at the ones I shot today in Los Angeles.

Jim, the hens were particularly handsome!!!, The head feathers were fabulous indeed

Jim, this is a fantastic shot but I don't think its not a female - its a first year male. The plumage on the back is very pronounced and is typically exclusive to males.
