Rook

I've been trying for a long time to get a descent capture of a rook (Corvus frugilegus), a bird I haven't seen being posted here (yet) ; although very common, like all crows they are very skittisch; stalked this one by car ;i'm not to hapy about the bg;
NIKON D1, 300 mm + 2X TC, car used as hide, natural light, almost full frame

This is an excellent photo of a Rook. The detail in the blacks is wonderful. I like low angle too. The BG would be better if you did a smart blur on it in PS.
