Make Canon
Model Canon EOS 20D
Flash Used No
Focal Length 700 mm
Exposure Time 1/400 sec
Aperture f/9
ISO Equivalent 200

Frustrated with the poor success rate with Sandhill Crane flight shots at the crane pool, I retreated into the refuge and found some one-shot opportnities.

I like the raised foot. Looks a bit overexposed to me. Nice comp and setting.

Nice isolated shot. I agree it looks a tad over cooked but like the pose.

Tough to get these guys alone in one frame -- nice.
As for the 20D at Bosque -- for the Crane Pool I faired well, it was the smaller raptors that killed me.
