Very Nice Chas. I'm amazed how sharp it is with the 2x. I really like the crop. In-camera? Great capture. I just wish the wing tip was a bit sharper at f11...just kidding. The tonal quality and detail on the wing is amazing.

I think you posted a similar shot over at NPN a couple of years ago (more of a head shot I think) but I do not get tired of seeing these - superb!

Maximum cool, even without flash! :)

It also shows the capability of the 1DII and Canon glass, even with 2x. In the hand of a skilled photographer, it can be dangerous. :roll: :twisted: :lol:

This kind of image amazes and entices me. It's sharp, colorful and detailed; very artistic and informative about the flight posture of the bird. Nice. 8)
