There are more than birds at Bolsa Chica.
Wish I had gotten his feet, but he wasn't hanging around for the perfect shot.

Definitely a good looking specimen - a bit darker and redder than I am used to here in the desert. The head is fantastic on this shot.

Typical coyote looking over the shoulder pose. Well done.

Nice coyote image but, ummm, what's with the feet and some of that background blurring ? Shouldn't this be over in digital creations ?

I love those eyes! And the red hues make for a gorgeous photo.

I agree with Andrew that the bottom of the legs looks very strange...

Cheers,
ben

Great shot. Those ears and that "what ever" expression just crack me up. Well done.

A crummy post processing job by me. I selectively sharpened the coyote and blurred the rest of the image which gave it that look. If I have the time I'll re-do it. Thanks

Nice pose captured here Richard, a shame the post processing has left the subject floating in mid air. Certainly not your usual excellent standard. 8) :)

Its a shame as this could be a great shot. the lighting and colour are lovely.

Love the eyes and the look back. It's very amusing for me because I'm not used to seeing the head so large relative to the body. Colors are great. (If it wasn't for the feet ...)
