Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Travel and Culture Gallery, week ending 4th May, 2012!
Image
Camera Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Lens Carl Zeiss Distagon 21mm F2.8 T* ZE
Focal Length 21mm
Shutter Speed 298 sec
Aperture f/2.8
ISO/Film 50

We revisited the Chapel on the Rock (located on Peak-to-Peak Hwy, Colorado) for some night photography. I strongly suggest a high quality large image to fully enjoy the image here: http://images.us.viewbook.com/c538a3523 ... a53266.jpg

Very dramatic light show Martynas! There's a lot of going on here, all contributing to a sense of mystery and wonder, and I agree that the large version has much more impact!

Viewed this a number of times already, and got lost in this image for several minutes each time. Very dramatic yet serene.

Absolutely stunning. Reminds me of a Thomas Kinkade painting.

Love it. Know the place well. My sister-in-law was married there having worked at Camp Malo.

It is a lovely place and Chapel on The Rock is iconic landmark... Is very sad Camp Malo actually burned down in fire last Fall and is closed indefinitely...:(
