Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Landscapes Gallery, week ending 17th February, 2012!This is from the beach at Jökulsarlon South Iceland. The subject is actually a broken slab of lake ice rather than the usual glacial ice.

Once again a really beautiful beach shot. The reflected light off the ice is great and the water trails in the sand from the tide almost look like flames, really neat.

Very, very cook looking image! Love the bright ice contrasting with the dark sand.

I just love it. Great mood. I gave your magic cloth technic a try. It's great but I need to practice.

Amazing, surreal landscape. The isolation and glow from the broken ice is magical.

Magical! Almost like a drawing. The ice blocks are eyecatching.

This really is quite nice...I like the juxtaposition of warm and cool tones here, as well as the great geometry in the ice. Well done. The only nit I have is the bit of ice sneaking in from the right...

Very surreal light. Perhaps a bit too contrasty for me, but I love the comp here.
