I thought I would post one last interaction shot. this was taken on my first trip to Kenya in the Maasai Mara. This pair would be interactive for 15-20 sec then fall over and sleep for about 25-30 min.

I wondered if you'd post this. Definitely from the "green" trip! Nice shot!

My does he look feisty! Great interaction Cheryl. The green really makes this stand out from the typical lion shots I have seen. :)

I hope my cats don't see this. The expression on the male goes perfectly with the action. The female looks like she has a headache.

I dunno, she doesn't look like she bothered to wake up from the last nap. Looks like she's thinking, "Quit your bellowing and get it over with, already!" :) The face on the male can't be beat, but the contrast with the female's reall makes this one.

Hey Cheryl,

The greens look a lot better here .. Wonderful image. You timed it perfectly. Africa has to be awesome, I'm sure. Everything about this is nice. Really well done.

Cheers

Just love the green and the way it makes the lions pop from the monitor. (I'm still waiting to get over there in "green" season!) Looks to me like he's not enjoying this at all - but the contrast between the two is really funny.

I love how you captured this image with them in the short grass. Always a crap shoot where they will mate.
