Mount Moran - Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
EOS 1Ds, 24-70, ISO 100

Here is a more traditional shot than my last few posts which have gotten a ton of views but essentially no comments which is an indication of experimentation on my part gone awry  It's an iconic shot taken at Oxbow Bend but I liked the cloud that lit up a bit and looks like it is venting from Mount Moran.

I bet everybody is on vacation with a slow connection. This is a very nice peacefull image, makes me whish if i were there. I like the clouds, the light on Mt. Moran and the reflection. Want a nit? I whish the reflection of the top cloud would be there entirely.

For me this one is just too dark. I'd like to see it with some detail opened up.

It is dark on my CRT at home but very nice on the LCD on my Mac at work.

Its supposed to be dark, if the mountain were not, there would be no color in the sky or clouds.

I like the image as it is E.J., but since the reflection isn't very perfect, I might prefer seeing less water, specially because of the grass on the lower right corner that breaks the symmetry.
But it still is very nice and I agree that the clouds over the peak are great.

I like this as is
The darkness is okay...the last frame shot of a good day.

Waiting for the last light before packing up, you never know what the last burst of sun will give you.

Add the moon into the frame and you have it all.
