slight crop, 4x5 nagaoka # 803, tripod

i'd like to personally thank theodor scheimpflug for giving us (photogs with view cameras) such a fun principle to play with, but, of course, he's long gone.

pretty extreme front tilt with moderate aperture.

My photographs aim at being true, not at being beautiful because, what is true is most often beautiful.

Mark,

While I don't particularly care for some of your work, and don't normally post comments on your shots--your style is so different from what I like--I've got to say that this one is spectacular.

The creativity you've shown in this one is abolutely outstanding. I love it.

What kind of scan is this--I see some noise in the sky...

If I've got to say something critical, it would only be that this might be better suited to the EHK gallery--I don't think trees naturally grow in such straight lines.

Geez Mark I thought you had found a bi-focal loupe  .
Seriously this is a good example of the principal normally used for such mundane things as increasing apparent DOF.

Cool stuff, Mark. I like the stylized effect here.
