Taken in morning light. Canon 1D, 600 IS + 2x. I had been told to look for the kits in an entirely different direction, so I had too much lens when this guy approached from behind. Most of the images I got clipped off part of a leg or the tail. This is one of the few that didn't. There was no time to change lenses, so I had to take what I could get. All comments and suggestions for improvement greatly appreciated.

Bob, you have some stunning Fox images yourself! This is another little beauty - Its a bit older than the ones we photographed (see the essays forum) and you have captured the gorgeous look of wonderment they have at this age to perfection. I like the face half in light and half in shadow and the great detail, right down to the little wet legs - presumably from dew on the grass.

Well done on another sweet shot! 8) 8) 8) :)

This is excellent! The sunlit grass in the background is a little distracting but the fox more than makes up for it!

Bob,
You certainly captured him in toto very nicely here. One of those situations where dead center seems to work just fine. Would have liked a rouch more light on the darker side of the face but this is a fine photo as it stands.
