This is a repost of an image of two days ago. I have tried to incorporate the suggestions people made. Canon 1D, 600 IS + 2x, ISO 250, fill flash at -1.67. The link to the first post is included below. All comments and suggestions greatly appreciated.

I suspected the image was pretty good and the post processing confirms it!!, Much better than before, plenty tonal range and a wonderful capture too!! Congrats!! 8)

Bob, you did a good job with the processing on this one.

Just for your information. You don't have to wait two days to post a reworked photo. You could have reposted it in the original thread as it's the same photo but with additional tweeking. If that does not make sense, let me know and I'll send you a PM.

I love a good shot of Blackbirds displaying. I missed the original but this one is excellent. Great detail, great action, and a great BG. You certainly got this one right.
