Magee again; 10D, 500 f/4.5 I think canon fixed my focus problems-- if anyone has any ?s about their 10D, allow me to suggest that it go back to NJ!! My photo skills jumped 1000-fold after they fixed the camera!!!

Comments and crits gratefilly accepted.

I left the multiple catchlights in because I thought it was funny that we were all banging away at this warbler at the same time.

Nice shot, Bill. If possible, more DOF would have been beneficial. The perch is a bit large, but we often have to settle for what the bird does, not what we want it to do. The aforementioned sentence applies to humans, not to Murphy.

Sweet shot, a little more DOF would have been nice. The diagonal comp is a big plus.

Canon Canada actually replaced my 10D, I know what it was like to have a bad 10D. The other 10D owners that critisized us for complaining should have owned the bad 10Ds', only then would they have known what we had to deal with, image after image. I offered Canon 350+ OOF images as proof.

Bill, great work getting a Black & White with his head up. I don't mind the perch as you really don't see this species on skinny branches like other warblers. I'm seeing a cyan cast to this. More DOF would have been nice too.

Sandy: that was funny :)

I agree with the others, but it is still a nice shot of a bird we don't have out here.

Hi Bill,

I do love this one. Maybe warming it up just a touch would also be nice :)

From his stance this little guy looks like he was ready to take you all on!

Great closeup Bill. I like the simple and clean composition and more DOF would be nice but I would take this in a heartbeat. 8)

You're already heard about the DOF. That aside......it's a wonderful warbler shot. To get a clean shot at Magee is a challenge.....to get a cooperative bird is a miracle.
