I spent some time at last month's STL workshop at the Triple D in California working on my pan blur technique. This was one of my first attempts starting with my favorite big cat. I fired off a series of three frames, this was he second frame.

Nikon D1x, Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR @ 130mm, 1/160 sec, f/8, ISO 400

Excellent technique. I like these sort of shots, but as has already been said, the head should be sharp. Very difficult when an animal is in full flight as they tend to bob their head up and down. One of the few that don't of course, is the cheetah :)

But this is a great shot showing the motion of the legs and the implied speed. Good work.
