Thanks Greg.
This was taken at the gardens of a small hotel in Crete, Greece. The owners of the hotel had this peacock walking around in their gardens for some time..

One proud bird for sure. I like the way you've cropped the tail and the angle between the bird's head and body that show all the colors so nicely.

The Peafowl from Paradiso!!!
What a wonderful spread tail, wishing for his face to be parallel with the film plane, but wonderful as is, a tad over saturated but not a nit!! Congrats!! 8)

It must be me, but it looks a little dark from here. It's an awesome photo though.

These birds are beautiful, but either I'm going blind or everyone else is. The image looks soft and you can't see either eye.
The bird is great, but as far as I'm concerned the image isn't

Richard you can't the see the eyes because the bird is looking straight at you and has a very narrow profile. In my monitor the image looks very sharp and it is a scan slide (not a digital) this is remarkable!!!!!! I have viewed the image again at 300% magnification and have to stand by my previous opinion. I like all aspects of the image. Have tired similar ones many times and come up empty.

..........now as far as vision correction you do have many choices, some of the soft contact lenses work great, Lasic is wonderful.......
