Has anyone read the new magazine by the editors of PC Photo called Digital Pro Photo? I am half way through it and am really enjoying the magazine. It includes interviews with some pro photographers from Sports Illustrated and other places that are quite interesting with regards to their take on the digital revolution.

I wonder if I can change my PC Photo subscription to this magazine as PC Photo is pretty much a throw away.

I have resisted looking at Digital Photo Pro on the newstand because I subscribed on the web as soon as I saw it advertised in Outdoor Photographer and PC Photo. I haven't received my mag yet even though it has been on the news stands since August 25. Has anyone received a subscription copy in the mail?

You would think the subscribers would get their copies before they show up at the stores. Hopefully that will be a problem that will be corrected shortly.

Checking the website, I see the new publication is from Werner, which also publishes PC Photo. Perhaps they're offering something for the up segment of the market. ;)

I picked up a copy at Barnes & Noble. I am impressed with this first issue. The editor explains the reasoning for the new mag - and it is to be focused on the needs of professional photographers, workflow, etc, etc (whatever that means! :) )

The articles were well written, lengthy, with good content and variety. I put in a subscription soon after picking this one up at the newstand.

I just signed up for my 1 year subscription. It will be tempting not to pick one up at the local Barnes & Noble.

ugh.
