A little bit of patience got this shot for me. I was hanging out at this marsh area and heard this bird calling about 30 feet in front of me. It took me 10 minutes to locate him, then another ten for him to come out of hiding. I was rewarded with this shot plus a few others. It's amazing what being quiet for 10 minutes can do.
