Last Friday during the foggy morning, while most of the birds were gone, I did manage to finally get a clear shot of an adult purple gallinule. This image is a 4x6 vertical crop from a 4x6 horizontal image. I really hated some of the leaves on the left of the bird, so I cropped in close.
Canon Elan7e with Canon 400 5.6L; hh; f/5.6; 1/1000; Kodak Ultra 400UC; cropped in photoshop cs and added a neat image layer to reduce noise. Not sure if I should clone out some of the droplets on the outer perimeter of the ripples.... "There are no other Everglades in the world. They are, they have always been, one of the unique regions of the earth; remote, never wholly known. Nothing anywhere else is like them..." - Marjory Stoneman Douglas
