This is a female Gambel's Quail with her babies. The desert mornings were still pretty cool when these little ones hatched and periodically they would climb under mother's wing to warm up. I wish they were closer as this vertical is a crop from a horizontal image.

This is neat. I like Gambel Quail and the babies really add to the intimacy of thie image.

Well done, Alan.

This is a fantastic Quail family shot. I like the vertical but would have left more space on the left. In fact, I'd like to see a horizontal. Keep these shots coming.

Steve.

Marvelous family shot, Alan !!! Any closer and Momma might have bolted. Would prefer a horizontal pano. :) :) :)

Wonderful image in its own right Alan. Add in the cuteness factor and it goes way over the top IMHO. 8) 8) 8) 8) :)
