White Ibis - Immature Brazos Bend SP, TX

These guys were plentiful and not very shy.

Greg & I disagreed on the exposure. He used 1/5000 @ f/5.6 and I used 1/2500 @ f/8. :D

10D, 500/4L IS + 1.4X II TC, 550Ex + Flash Extender @ -1 1/3, ISO 400 -1/3, Gitzo + BH1 + Sidekick

Very nice shot! Maybe crop a bit off the left side. Good detail and well exposed.

Nice, detailed shot, Jim. I love these juveniles. They are often considerably larger than their parents, and, as you indicate, they're not as skittish as the older birds.
