Since the upgrade I've had a feeling I haven't been receiving the usual notifications of new posts to threads I had posted to. My profile default is set to automatically notify.
I think I have tracked it to threads where I have only used a quick reply (rather than hitting the Post Reply button).
Anyone else noticed this (I've been a bit distracted and maybe just missed something)?
Is this normal intended behaviour?

Neil.

I am alerting Nicholas to this thread. You might be onto something with the quick reply...

Hey Greg, I just did a Quick Reply and out of curiosity hit Preview. Sure enough "Notify me when a reply is posted" is not selected when you do a Quick Reply, regardless of default settings. If that could follow user defaults it would be great.
Cheers mate,
Neil.

I'll start looking into it and see what I can see.

I believe this is now fixed. Please test and respond here if there are any problems.

Thanks.

Nicholas

Yup, that quick reply appears to have subscribed me to the topic.
All is well again.
Cheers,
Neil.

All of a sudden every time I post a reply, I get subscribed to the thread. I'd rather have the default be NOT subscribed. I've checked my profile and don't see anything wrong. HELP! All the emails are driving me nuts! :)

Should now be fixed, but you may have a little fallout -- any topics that you're currently subscribed to (because of the bug) will still be active until you unsubscribe. Sorry about that.
