We were able to get lots of images of this fellow thanks to Tom Vezo asking the folks at Monte Verde Lodge to put out feeders one month before we arrived.

Great, Richard; beautiful lighting too.

Wow...Motmots coming to feeders. Thats so cool. All my experiences with Blue-crowned Motmots were in dappled light looking between multiple branches etc. Definitely not like this. Great shot.

Now the question is do you have a full body shot that includes the long tail being in focus etc? Or was he not *that* cooperative? ;)

Yes I do have the whole bird and tail, but as you said the llight is dappled, BG is busy. Overall not as appealing an image.
