Amur (Siberian) Tiger (captive)
Triple D STL

I posted a similar shot here a few months ago but we have had a lot of new participants since then and it fits the motif so well I just had to post this one. I printed this 16" wide and it will soon be hanging at work. I also found it makes a really nice bookmark.

I want to thank everyone for posting to the motif this week. EYE have really enjoyed looking at all the images. I also want to thank everyone who has also taken the time to comment on other peoples images. I am sure we all appreciate when someone takes the time to comment/critique our shots. I know I do.

VERY Nice Cheryl. I remember the light not being all that great during that session, but you can't tell from this this picture. I never had the opportunity to get a straight on shot, as the tiger never looked directly at me (not that I was aware anyway). Maybe I didn't look 'tasty' enough! :)

What was your shutter speed?

Very effective, Cheryl. What an opportunity to see an animal's features like this so closely.
