Well, our local camera store is now taking deposits on the new D2H....So, like a curious little camper, I called to see if they had a release date.

LOL!! Typical Nikon USA statement runs as follows: "We will announce price and shipping date 30 days before its release"....when I asked the owner when that might be, he just laughed and said that nobody (even the Nikon rep) knows an actual date...

What a hoot!!! At least at our local store, the interest in the D2H is running very high....
