Another case where a wild duck has aquired a taste for the corn people feed the swans that has sunk to the bottom and brought in uncommon ducks. The bronze neck ring is most conspicuous when the neck is stretched.

This is a great shot ken! I kept trying to get shots like this, but few turned out. The lighting is great in the photo and I love the Iridescent colours!

Nice detail, composition Ken! I see that getting low to the ground also helps with a more intimate portrait like this one!

Fantastic detail, and it's great that the neck ring shows.

Ken, the nicest Headshot of this species I've seen. Seeing the ring on the neck makes it for me.

Excellent portrait, Ken. Getting the chestnut colored neck-ring is a huge bonus. :)

In this case, the high contrast is a major plus. Superb close-up!

This was on Monday, the water was calm and the light more diffuse. The shots on Saturday were more contrasty due to having to shoot across the sunlight quite often. On balance I like the light overcast better for working that corner of LaSalle park.
