Black Rhino

This was the only black rhino I saw in 5 days in Ngorongoro crater even though there are reportedly 17 there. Everyone has to be out of the crater by 6PM because of the concerns with poachers even though none have been poached in many years.

Glad you at least saw one in the crater. It is definitely hit or miss. Two months ago, we saw a group of roughly 5 rhino out in the open. What a glorious site.

Great pose, clarity, and color, and interesting to find the clips out of its ear. What bites off a piece of a rhino's ear? :shock:
