Excellent sharpness and exposure! Good colors and I like that the eye can be seen through the feathers. Composition-wise I would have left more room at the bottom for the bird's legs and moved the camera to the right so that the bird is more in the left side of the frame. Well done. :D

cheers, Oliver

Jose, this is nice. I might perfer a vertical allowing for more leg room.

Sorry, leg lovers :(, but there's no more room for the legs. Still, I dared to post this one because of the pose and the feathers. Would cropping out the partial legs work? I would really like more cropping suggestions to see if I can save this partially legged egret, although I'm not too optimistic. Probably the best thing to do is to go back to the Parque and grab another!
Thanks for your comments and suggestions.

I love the detail in the plumes. If you can go back, I would try to get a vertical as Alan suggested and include the legs. Still, this is one I would love to have in my files. :D

Hello again Jose, all the comments are right on. The exposure and focus are right on. Knowing what I know, it would be best to go back and try another. That area has great potential.

Very nice image. I wish the eye was a little more visible. A vertical crop may be nice also.

I'm in agreement with everything that's been said, except "bride." ;) What makes you think so? Both sexes sport nuptial plumes this time of year.
