Red-Tailed Hawk (im) enjoy meal

Most people look but not see.

This photo was taken just beside a popular trail. Around 30s people had pass by during the 20 mins while this guy joying his meal, but only 4 or 5 noticed and stop to watch this .

EOS 10D + 100-400L IS @ 400, Handheld
f6.7, 1/500 s, @ iso 200

Can't quite tell what the meal is, my guess a rabbit, but I do like the shot. Though distance probably didn't allow for it, fill flash might have evened out the light -- important thing is his/her head is in the light and not the shadow.

Great shot. Some more detail in the shadows could be brought out in PS. It looks like your almost at eye level, great job.

No nits from me, I like the head turn. You have a good image here, you could have exposed a bit more but that would have lightened the BG sky, which in IMHO is not what I try to do.

Good job on the observational skills. What a great shot to be able to get. I think the others have covered the nits. I think with a little work in PS those nits could disappear. Very nice!!!!
