I just installed Photoshop CS and was playing with the shadow and highlight tool it worked wonders with this image.

Canon 1D 500mm f4, Tripod Ball head Leveling head Sidekick, 1/100 @ f4, Autofocus.

Jimmy,

Another great shot. The bear looks very nice in every sense, but I find the OOF branches above the bear a tad distracting since they form a rather distinct pattern.

Nice detail in the fur and those big ears are great. The framing is a bit odd with the feet and one side of the bear missing. Still, its certainly a nice portrait.
