There are so many things I like about this shot. The colors, for one. The composition with reflections, good color and the takeoffs and landings blurred in the background.

I like this a lot too Dick for the same reasons you mention!! You can look at this for quite a while and see all sorts of different activities and poses all going on at the same time. Its a little frozen moment in time with great colours too.

Nice one!

This is a very good image, gives me a feeling of moment and movement. An excellent image for those, like myself, who could not be there. Are those clouds at the top, or geese in flight?

Very nice image. To my eye, it would be even better cropped just below the lowest goose on the right (yes, losing the reflection) in order to eliminate most of the open water on the left. That way you have uniform activity through the frame, little empty space, and a diagonal flow from the single standing goose in the lower left corner up through the pinkish light in the upper right corner.

I like this for all the reasons you give but I really like the snow (goose) flurry going on in the top part of the frame.

Excellent shot!!

Those are definitely geese in flight! It's an awesome sight (and site!).

I like it too, especially the strong sense of stillness to motion as you move from the bottom up in the image.

Outstanding image! A truly creative image as many of the blurs at Bosque have been. Well seen.

Very nice....and interesting. I like the idea of the suggested crop. Amazing the number of blur images that can be created there....must be an infinite number.

Amazing image! The blurred images of the flying birds look like an OOF mirror image of the stationary ones still on the water. Very interesting effect. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, everyone. This will definitely be one of the wall prints I give away this Christmas.

I'm going to try it with and without the suggested crop. I like it both ways.
