Lesser Yellowlegs - Jamaica Bay NWR, NY
EOS10D, ISO 200, 300/4L + 1.4X, 1/1000 at f8, eval. -1/3
cropped a little from top and left

Hello everybody,
Well I don't have any sandhill crane images (never been to Bosque either) and my snow goose images from Bombay Hook have to be scanned... So I decided to post another image from Jamaica bay for the time being. I believe this is the Lesser although I could be wrong.
All comments and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for looking!

This is a very nice shot of this yellowlegs. I really like the pose. I might be tempted to crop some off the bottom, since the reflection isn't complete, and a corresponding amount from the left to bring it back to 3:2 format.

Still an excellent shot as is.

I think the crop would be good. The water is fantastic on this one.

Thank you all for your suggestions.
I also thought of cropping it more since the reflection is not complete but I kept it like this because I wanted to include more of the gorgeous water.
I will post a cropped version for comparison later (I am at work right now).
Brian: this image was taken in beginning of November, around 9:00 AM.

Just lovely. That really is some pretty water. I also like this a lot with the suggested crop and can't wait to see the repost!
