Taken last winter near the summit of the Icefields Parkway in Jasper. IIRC, I took this handheld out the passenger window of my truck--the ravens are perched on the ploughed snow bank in a roadside pullout.

I forget what the film was, but this was taken with a consumer-grade 100-300 zoom. It looks like I could have done a better job with the sharpening--there's a bit of a halo...

I don't notice the halo on my computer. This is a good habitat shot of these cold weather birds. Took me back to my days in Alaska as soon as I saw it. You might try a vertical crop on the bird on the right.

A very nice shot a very smart bird, as a matter of fact there is a very good chance I may know one of them!!, Met many on my travels to Jasper-Banff in years past, Ravens in that part of the world are as big as chickens!!! True survivors!!! Indeed!!1 Congrats!! 8)

Cool shot, Paul. I like the falling smow and how it looks like they are watching each other's backs.

Excellent exposure of the black on white. :)

Nice shot!
I remember how many ravens are in Jasper...here, in Italy, they are rare and amazingly shy :(
